About

Open Science Days 2026 brings together the research communities of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Haute école pédagogique du canton de Vaud (HEP Vaud), HES-SO, and the University of Lausanne (UNIL). The four institutions are jointly hosting two participatory days in Lausanne to promote open science.

The programme is organised around four thematic strands: the compass, the catalyst, the crew, and the spark. Case studies, peer learning, workshops, and panel discussions will create opportunities for practical exchange and collaboration.

The event is relevant to NAIF because it supports the shared goal of making research a public good by connecting people, tools, and networks across the Swiss research community.
