About

This Science@Noon panel addresses how reliable knowledge can be prepared, preserved, and made accessible in an information environment shaped by generative AI and disinformation. It also asks how cooperation between relevant actors can be improved within a multi-level governance system and what funding measures are needed.

The discussion is especially relevant to NAIF because it focuses on research infrastructures such as repositories and academic libraries. The organisers also frame the event in relation to the Swiss Science Council report “Research Libraries as Data Hubs”.

The panel is organised in collaboration with the Swiss Science Council (SWR). Speakers include Rita Gautschy, Beat Immenhauser, Gabriela Lüthi, and Sabine Süsstrunk.
